How To Help Click here to give towards native missions worldwideAdvancing Native Missions serves as a bridge connecting two critical pillars of the global body of Christ: (1) native missionaries laboring among unreached peoples, and (2) supporting individuals and churches, mainly in the developed world. Each group needs the other! Without native missionaries, the Church cannot hope to fulfill the Great Commission, as 80% of world evangelization is being done by native missionaries. Without supporting individuals and churches, native missionaries would be significantly hampered and crippled in their efforts, as most of them live in spiritually and economically depressed regions. Advancing Native Missions offers a variety of ways for individuals and churches (and Sunday School groups, home schoolers, Christian schools, clubs, ministries, foundations, companies ) to make significant contributions to native missions. We categorize these broadly into three categories:
We firmly believe that the body of Christ needs to be educated about the amazing things the Lord is doing through native missions. Very few North American Christians, for example, have any clue about the thousands of souls being daily added to the Lord's family through native missionaries. After learning about the needs, the struggles, the victories, and the challenges facing native missionaries, then we are in a position to pray for them. Prayer is the number one request that our overseas brethren plead for. How can we learn more about native missions?
If you'd like to receive e-mail prayer updates about native missions, ANM offers you the following option:
In Matthew 25, the Lord clearly charges us to help fellow believers who are hungry, naked, imprisoned, sick, and in need. Native missions-many of which minister in regions where the average income is $1 or $2 a day-are reaching the poorest of the poor for Christ. Many of the native missionaries are hardly better off than those they are reaching. Advancing Native Missions offers several ways to give directly to our needy brethren overseas.
Finally, Advancing Native Missions offers several ways that you can go personally to visit, learn, encourage, and be encouraged by native missionaries around the world.
